  • Statement of good faith belief: Include a statement in your DMCA takedown notice that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy of information: Ensure that the information provided in your DMCA takedown notice is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Knowingly misrepresenting facts in a DMCA notice may result in legal consequences.
  • Electronic signature: Include an electronic or physical signature (i.e., your full legal name) in your DMCA takedown notice.

Please note that submitting a DMCA takedown notice does not guarantee immediate removal of the allegedly infringing material. We will thoroughly review your notice and, if necessary, take appropriate action in accordance with the DMCA.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that a DMCA takedown notice has been improperly filed against you, you may submit a counter-notification to request the restoration of the removed material. Your counter-notification must include the following:

  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it previously appeared.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located or, if outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of the United States District Court for the District of [NY].
  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the party that filed the original DMCA notice or an agent of that party.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.
